Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and readily available for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, efficiency, and supporting a smooth-running hospitality operation. Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service settings is a plus but not required. Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following proper food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff
- Support food preparation activities by ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are clean and ready for use
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet the high standards of cleanliness required in a fast-paced hospitality setting
Experience
- Previous experience in food handling, restaurant service, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures related to kitchens or food service establishments is advantageous
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and sanitation standards is beneficial
- Experience with food preparation or cooking can be an asset but is not essential for this role
