What are we looking for? Our team is seeking personable and motivated Top Talent to support the company’s warehouse team as Warehouse Associate located in our Mississauga, Canada location. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for duties related, but not limited to pulling customer orders, loading trucks and receiving in product.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Material Handling:
- Safely and efficiently handle various flooring materials, including rolls, tiles and other products weighing up to100lbs.
- Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct inspections to ensure materials are in good condition and report any damage or discrepancies.
Inventory Management:
- Utilize the JDE system for inventory tracking, receiving and order processing.
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory audits.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and easy product accessibility.
Order Processing and Fulfilment:
- Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF guns.
- Pick, pack and prepare shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy in order picking and packaging to minimize errors and damages.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Warehouse Organization and Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Arrange and store materials in designated locations ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Ensure aisles are clear of obstructions.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
- Operate RF guns and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Operate RF guns to scan barcodes, track inventory movement, and update the system.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor/manager immediately.
- Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Physical stamina- ability to handle items weighing up to 100lbs safely and repeatedly throughout the day.
- Prior experience operating RF guns a plus.
- Forklift experience required, certified preferred.
- Familiarity with JDE software or similar inventory management system.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team Player- willingness to collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment a must.
- Safety awareness.
Hours of work: This is a fulltime (40 hour) a week position with days and hours of work being Monday through Friday, between 7:00am and 4:00pm. Hours of work may vary based on business needs.
