Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food handling within the food industry or restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their breakfast selections
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations
- Replenish food displays and ensure all items are stocked throughout service hours
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards
- Assist with setup and breakdown of breakfast service, including setting up buffet stations or serving areas
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during morning hours
- Basic food preparation skills; barista experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work mornings and weekends as needed
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience
Pay: $17.95-$21.87 per hour
