CORE DRILLER
Location: Harley, ON
OVERVIEW
A Core Driller works independently to perform core drilling tasks on commercial pre-cast structures, usually post-erection. Long hours are involved, working in most weather conditions. Overnight stays are occasionally involved depending on the job location and requirement.
THE DAY TO DAY
-
Drives to job sites
-
Unload necessary equipment
-
Reads plans and determine what drilling is required

Measures and marks of the drilling areas
-
Performs required drilling
-
Maintains a safe and organized job site

Helps the precast erection crew as required

Cleans site and load equipment when tasks are complete
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Must be able to work in a self-managed team.

Ability to read and write English
-
Ability to read tape measure (metric/imperial) and drawings
-
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Safety conscious
-
Able to work well independently, with little supervision

Attention to detail and accurate
-
Reliable and highly motivated
-
Welding experience an asset
-
One year’s experience in a similar field is preferred
