Overview:
Portofino Bakery is rolling out SAP as part of a company-wide integration. Portofino is transitioning from a paper-based Quality Assurance (QA) program to a fully digital system. We are looking for a motivated and organized Co-op Student to support the implementation process, ensuring accurate data migration, system testing, and user training. We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Co-op Student to support the implementation of new QA software. This role will play a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, system testing, and training for employees. This position will report to the Chief of Staff , and collaborate with the different departments of the company.
The Bread and Butter of the Position:
- Support the implementation of new QA software, ensuring a smooth transition to a digital system.
- Assist with the SAP rollout, focusing on data migration, system accuracy, and process alignment.
- Collect, input, and clean up data to maintain system accuracy.
- Conduct software testing to identify and resolve issues before full deployment.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the new system.
- Support employee training by preparing materials and providing guidance on system usage.
- Provide training and education to employees on system usage and best practices.
- Offer general administrative support related to the QA digital transformation.

The Ingredients You Bring to the Table:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program (e.g., Business, IT, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance).
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and experience with data entry or management.
- Ability to learn and navigate new software systems effectively.
- Comfortable learning and testing new software systems.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
