Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs on various appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens
- Install, assemble, and test appliances to ensure proper functionality
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair processes and maintenance tips to clients
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Order parts and supplies as needed to complete repairs efficiently
- Stay updated on new appliance models, repair techniques, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems
- Prior appliance repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of systems and assembly processes is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Relevant certifications or technical training in appliance repair are advantageous
