The Role: We are looking for a Solar Installer to join our roof crews. Working under the Lead Solar Installer, you will help execute the physical installation of residential solar systems. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role where you will be a key part of delivering clean energy to Canadian homes.
What You Will Own
- Assisting with the installation of racking, solar panels, and roof-level wiring.
- Preparing the roof and staging materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment on the roof and around the property.
- Following all safety protocols, especially regarding fall protection.
Who You Are
- Hardworking, reliable, and comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- You take direction well and work effectively as part of a team.
- You are eager to learn the solar installation process from the ground up.
Requirements & Nice-to-Haves
- Nice-to-Have: Previous roofing, construction, or solar experience.
- Nice-to-Have: NABCEP certification.
- Nice-to-Have: Working at Heights, OSHA/WSBC, First Aid certifications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $25 – $30 per hour (T4 Employee)
- Incentive: Performance bonus structure available.
