We’re looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Cooks and Servers to join our team at Route 48. Route 48 is an established, laid-back, country-style restaurant serving North American comfort food with a Canadian twist.

Position 1: Cook (part-time)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, meeting food handling regulations
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Assist with food prep such as chopping, slicing, and assembling dishes
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy hours
- Report inventory needs or shortages to management
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or cooking role required
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
Position 2: Server (2- part-time)
Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Work with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
- Keep dining area clean and presentable
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous food service or customer-facing experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
