Matrix is seeking experienced A30 Haul Truck Drivers for our Nunavut project site on a seasonal FIFO rotation.
You will operate and maintain haul truck equipment safely and efficiently while working in a remote environment. This is a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off schedule with 12-hour shifts.
Project Location: Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut
Travel Provided: Charter travel from Edmonton, AB or Yellowknife, NT to the project site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an A30 haul truck in a mining/construction environment according to site procedures
- Follow all safety policies, including PPE, traffic control, and operating guidelines
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain awareness of site conditions and communicate with dispatch/spotters as required
- Drive in a safe and professional manner while meeting production targets
- Comply with environmental and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver/operator qualifications appropriate for A30 haul truck operation
- Relevant haul truck experience in a heavy-duty industrial or mining environment
- Strong commitment to safety and proven safe driving practices
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and complete the 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation
- Willingness to work in a remote location (Nunavut)
- Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Additional Information
- Pay: CA$500.00 - 600.00 per day, depending on experience
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
