Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Exterior Finishing Carpenter to work on a variety of projects, including new builds, renovations, and custom homes. If you take pride in your work, have strong problem-solving skills, and want to grow with a reliable company, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of exterior envelope: waterproofing, exterior outsulation / rainscreen installation
- Install various types of siding: Hardie board, wood, composite, metal cladding, etc.
- Complete detailed exterior trim work, including soffit, fascia, and window/door trims
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Ensure installations are square, level, weather-sealed, and meet code
- Work safely at heights with scaffolding, ladders, and harness systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and handle tools with care
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Communicate clearly with site supervisors
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in exterior carpentry
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights and following all safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Fall Protection, WHMIS, and other safety tickets are an asset
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
