Tasks
- Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses
- Handling animals
- Monitoring animal health
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work
- Treat livestock health issues
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- Maintain livestock performance records
- Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
- Maintain work records and logs
