The Marketing Operations Manager, Workflow & Project Management, is responsible for managing and continuously improving the enterprise marketing workflows and project management practices that enable the team to deliver work efficiently, effectively, and at scale.
The role combines hands-on management of day-to-day projects and workflows, with strategic and longer-term initiatives (in collaboration with multiple stakeholder groups) that improve Marketing's workflow and project management capabilities.
Project and workflow management
Act as project manager on special projects and cross-functional initiatives as required, bringing structure, visibility, and delivery discipline to the work.
Workflow systems and operational tools/ technology
Own the health and effectiveness of Marketing workflows by identifying risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions informed by operational data and stakeholder feedback.
Lead the evaluation, implementation, adoption and ongoing optimization of a new workflow management tool or system (for example, Workfront, JIRA, Monday.com, Asana or other similar solutions) fit for the enterprise marketing scope
Support experimentation, adoption, and scaling of AI-enabled solutions in collaboration with SMEs to enhance productivity, visibility, and workflow discipline.
Reporting and operational visibility
Develop and maintain operational reporting and dashboards to provide leadership with visibility into enterprise marketing project activity and resource capacity (including metrics such as project status/progression, capacity trends, throughput/delivery etc.)
Support Marketing Operations team meetings as needed, including event management, coordination of presentation materials, and documentation of notes or follow-ups.
7+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, workflow management, business operations, or related operational disciplines.
Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing, Project Management, or an equivalent degree in a related field is a minimum requirement.
Strong analytical capabilities and ability to identify patterns, root causes, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI, Copilot, automation, and digital tools to improve business processes and operational effectiveness.
