Client Care Specialist – Cannabis Testing Laboratory

PPB Analytical Inc. is looking for a Client Care Specialist to join our cannabis testing laboratory team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a background in chemistry, analytical science, or laboratory testing.
The main responsibility of this position is to communicate with clients regarding sample status, testing progress, and preliminary results. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact between our laboratory team and clients, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide preliminary results and sample status updates to clients
- Communicate with clients by email and phone in a professional manner
- Coordinate with laboratory analysts and QA team to confirm testing progress
- Assist clients with sample submission forms, testing requests, and general inquiries
- Review information carefully before communicating results
- Maintain accurate client communication records
- Support client care, account management, and general administrative tasks as needed
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up and managing booths at trade shows, industry events, conferences, and client-facing events

- Share testing service updates, industry news, company announcements, and event photos in a professional manner
- Help maintain a consistent and professional company presence online

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Cannabis Science, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a laboratory, cannabis testing lab, or scientific customer service role is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to understand and communicate technical testing information clearly
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client requests
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email communication
Assets:
- Ability to communicate in French is a strong asset
- Experience with cannabis testing, ISO 17025 laboratories, or LIMS/client portal systems is an asset
- Knowledge of analytical testing such as cannabinoids, terpenes, pesticides, heavy metals, microbiology, or residual solvents is an asset.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, client-focused, and comfortable communicating scientific information in a clear and accurate way. A chemistry background is preferred, as this role requires frequent communication regarding laboratory testing and preliminary results.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
