Full-Time Front-of-House Sandwich Maker
Renee’s Sandwich Shop is hiring for an amazing full-time front-of-house sandwich maker to join our team at 1018 Dundas Street in London, Ontario.
We’re a busy, growing neighbourhood sandwich shop that was voted Best Sandwich in London in both 2025 and 2026. We’re also planning to open a second location within the next year, so there is plenty of opportunity to grow into larger roles as the business expands.

Our shop is open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Shifts begin before opening for preparation and may continue after closing for cleanup. Start times vary depending on catering orders, with some shifts beginning as early as 7:00 a.m.
An example shift on a normal day would be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
An example shift on a busy catering day would be 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Making sandwiches quickly, accurately, and consistently
- Providing friendly and welcoming customer service
- Portioning meats and cheeses
- Possibly slicing meats and cheeses
- Assisting with any tasks that are needed to provide timely service to customers during a rush, such as helping the kitchen run bread to the line
- Organizing customer takeout/delivery orders
- Preparing and restocking ingredients
- Keeping the sandwich line and front-of-house area clean and organized
- Working closely with the kitchen and other team members
- Staying focused and efficient during busy lunch rushes
- Completing opening, closing, and daily cleaning tasks

- Has previous restaurant, café, deli, kitchen, or fast-paced food-service experience

A Food Handler Certificate is not required.
Availability and Physical Requirements
Applicants must be available to work during our operating schedule from Monday through Saturday.
Monday and Saturday availability is required and is a deal-breaker for this position.
Candidates must also be able to:
- Stand and move for shifts of up to eight hours
- Work in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Complete physical tasks such as cleaning, restocking, bending, and lifting
- Take a 30-minute unpaid break during applicable shifts
