About the Role:
A busy multidisciplinary clinic in Scarborough is seeking a Part-Time Registered Physiotherapist or a Resident Physiotherapist (with mentorship available) to join the team. The clinic primarily focuses on treating clients under Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Extended Health Care (EHC) programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy and exercise-based rehabilitation
- Manage MVA and EHC caseloads effectively
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation (SOAP notes, reports, etc.)
- Communicate with patients, insurers, and other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (or Resident Physiotherapist with supervision/mentor)
- Interest or experience in MVA and Extended Health cases preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
