We are currently looking for a passionate Business Development Representative / Software Advisor who thrives on sales, human relationships, and developing new markets.
This position is ideal for an energetic, ambitious, and self-driven individual who enjoys being both on the road and in calls with clients, and who wants to play a key role in the growth of a rapidly expanding Quebec-based technology company.
Your Day-to-Day Role
Working closely with the leadership team, you will be responsible for business development and the growth of Planpoint across Canada.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients across Canada;
- Conduct prospecting calls and follow up with leads;
- Present and sell the Planpoint platform to real estate developers, promoters, and industry professionals;
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions;
- Deliver software demonstrations virtually and in person;
- Participate in events, trade shows, and networking meetings;
- Develop strategic partnerships and collaboration agreements;
- Ensure thorough follow-up on business opportunities and client accounts;
- Represent the company with professionalism, energy, and credibility;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an excellent client experience.
Desired Profile
- You have between 3 and 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management;
- You are recognized for your people skills and your ability to quickly build trust;
- You enjoy both field sales and phone prospecting;
- You are motivated by results and targets;
- You are autonomous, organized, and proactive;
- You are comfortable in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment;
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- You enjoy traveling and are available for business trips across Canada.
Essential Requirements
- Fully bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
- Experience in B2B sales;
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to manage multiple files and opportunities simultaneously;
- Valid driver’s license and availability to travel.
Additional Assets
- Experience selling software or technology solutions (SaaS);
- Knowledge of the real estate industry;
- Experience in nationwide business development or account representation;
- Network of contacts within the real estate or technology sectors.
