As the centerpiece of our dining room, our bartenders play a key role in delivering the warm, polished service that defines the Brickstone experience. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their craft, and enjoys working alongside a professional, supportive team.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
- Valid ProServe and ProTect certification
- Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol in Alberta
- Positive attitude with exceptional guest service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy services
- Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused
Availability Required
- Part-time (2–3 shifts per week)
- Evening availability on weekdays and weekends
- Sunday availability is required
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages for bar guests
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for restaurant service staff and their guests through the service bar
- Deliver friendly, professional service while creating a welcoming atmosphere at the bar
- Maintain speed, consistency, and accuracy during busy service periods
- Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Follow all AGLC regulations and responsible liquor service practices
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $15.00/hour
- $16.00/hour upon successful completion of the probationary period
- Eligible to receive guest tips and front-of-house bartender tip-outs
