Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and caring Ongoing Dog and House Sitter to provide attentive care for our household.
This role offers a long term opportunity to house sit and care for our lovely dog during travels.
We generally travel for a week or so each month, sometimes longer. We would be paying for ongoing availability, as many of our trips are last minute.
Duties
- Feed, walk, and provide companionship to our dog
- Maintain a clean and tidy home environment
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns to the pet owner promptly
- Communicate regularly with us through updates or photos to reassure them of their pet’s well-being
- Follow specific instructions provided by homeowners regarding routines, feeding schedules, and emergency procedures
Requirements
- Prior experience with pet care or dog sitting is preferred but not mandatory; a genuine love for animals is essential
- Responsible, trustworthy, and dependable with a high level of integrity
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules based on client needs
- Must be able to commit long-term for ongoing assignments
- Basic knowledge of pet health and safety practices is advantageous
