Plascon Plastics is seeking reliable and motivated Material Handlers to join our Production team. We are currently hiring for Day, Afternoon, Night, and Weekend shifts. What You'll Do
As a Material Handler, you will play an essential role in supporting production by ensuring materials, equipment, and finished products move safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Supply production machines with raw materials, color concentrates, and packaging supplies.
- Perform material and color changes.
- Monitor and replenish material levels during production.
- Package finished products according to quality standards.
- Prepare, wrap, strap, and stage pallets for shipment.
- Load and unload trailers safely.
- Receive and store incoming materials.
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation and emails.
- Inspect materials and report quality concerns or equipment issues.
- Restart machines following minor alarms when authorized.
- Maintain accurate inventory through weighing and material tracking.
- Keep work areas clean and organized following 5S principles.
- Follow all Health & Safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Assist production and warehouse teams as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience is an asset.
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
