Summary:
- This is a contract position that requires you to support a person in your home. Supports include supporting the individual to achieve personalized goals, maintain daily living skills, assist with budgeting. You will also help them maintain a regular routine, along with providing emotional and physical wellbeing supports.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Disability Supports and/or related education preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience providing personal care and behavioral supports required.
- A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.
- Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and Medication Administration certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your current certification.
- Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract, and $2,000,000 liability required on both vehicle and home.
- Experience with Outlook, Microsoft word, and computer use required.
Salary:
- PLCS $1760/month + room and board to be negotiated.
- Respite $183 - $237 / 24 hours
