SALON CLEANING & MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
CHOW Bella Grooming Salon & Spa is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to help keep our busy grooming salon looking its absolute best.
This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys cleaning, organizing, repairing, and taking pride in maintaining a beautiful workspace. While our team keeps up with daily cleaning, we're looking for someone who can focus on the bigger jobs that often get pushed aside during a busy workday.
Responsibilities:
- Deep cleaning grooming tubs, kennels, floors, walls, and workstations
- Scrubbing and sanitizing hard-to-reach areas
- Laundry and organization
- Cleaning windows, doors, baseboards, shelving, and storage areas
- Minor repairs and maintenance projects
- Touch-up painting and wall repairs
- Organizing supplies and storage spaces
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pets, clients, and staff
The ideal candidate:
- Notices the little details others miss
- Enjoys cleaning and organizing
- Is self-motivated and works independently
- Has basic handyman or maintenance skills
- Takes pride in a job well done
- Is reliable and trustworthy
Possible Schedule Options:
- 1 day per week (4–8 hours)
- 2 days per week (3–4 hours per shift)
- Every second Saturday
- Sundays (10 am-2 pm)
- Evenings after salon hours
- Flexible schedule can be arranged
- Casual/on-call project work
- Monthly deep-cleaning and maintenance shifts
- Ongoing part-time position (4–12 hours per week)
Hours are flexible and can be tailored to the right candidate. We're open to a variety of schedules, including evenings, weekends, and project-based work.
