Key Responsibilities
Lead interactions with all functions (supply chain, engineering, production, quality, etc.) to define the strategic roadmap and performance objectives (KPIs) required to support ramp-up activities for the A220 Program.
Proactively challenge the robustness, feasibility, and risk levels of the cross-functional operational plan. Act as an authority to ensure that strategies and resources are adequate to achieve critical volume targets.
Develop, prepare, and lead high-level documentation and presentations for Steering Committees (Ramp-Up Readiness Steering Committee). Summarize strategic information to provide Top Management with a consolidated, transparent, and risk-based view for decision-making.
Ensure clear and fact-based communication of statuses, scenarios, and mitigation plans. Influence senior leadership by presenting clear recommendations enabling fast and informed decisions regarding milestones and investments related to ramp-up.
Formalize strategic decisions and actions arising from the Steering Committee.
Lead the review and execution of strategic actions by holding functional leaders accountable for deliverables, ensuring effective translation of strategy into operational results.
Profile Sought
- Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, operations management, business administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in program management or strategic project management in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Demonstrate Strategic Agility to navigate and lead the organization through complex ramp-up periods and uncertainty, as well as the ability to take autonomous, high-impact decisions (ownership).
- Show strong Initiative by anticipating risks (proactive risk mitigation) and proposing solutions to optimize the future performance of the program.
- Strong Critical Analysis skills to transform complex datasets into strategic insights. Use Systems Thinking to understand functional interdependencies and optimize overall performance.
- Exercise Influential Leadership to mobilize and align functional leaders and diverse teams toward a common objective (Ramp-Up). Excel in negotiation and in resolving strategic conflicts across departments.
- Strong Executive Communication skills (oral and written, in French and English) to synthesize complexity into clear, action-oriented messages for Top Management and external partners.
