Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in meal preparation or as a cook in a restaurant setting is required. Preferably in Italian cuisine
- Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- A passion for the food industry and a desire to help create memorable dining experiences for guests
Work Schedule
- Tuesday to Sunday 4pm-9:30/10pm
