R.R. Plett Trucking is a family owned and operated transportation company based out of Langley, B.C. Our commitment is to provide reliable and honest transportation services to our customer. We have a requirement for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Dispatcher to join our team.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:30
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Booking appointments with Vancouver Port Terminals
- Field incoming calls/emails from customers and drivers
- Work closely with the Logistics Supervisor
- Work closely with Operations Manager in day to day supervision at driver team
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience dealing with Vancouver ports would be an asset
- Minimum 2 years experience in Logistics position
- Advanced desktop application skills: MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Proven commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Dedicated commitment to superior, timely internal and external customer service
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, professional team player
- Must be flexible if required to work outside normal working hours
