We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join the TSX Trust Transfer Agency team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the issuer and investor services recordkeeping lifecycle, particularly within the Transfer Agency domain, and be skilled in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new projects, products and system enhancements related to Transfer Agency operations and services.
Conduct gap analyses between current and desired state processes.
Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure solutions are built according to specifications and meet business needs.
Lead and facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with both business and technical audiences.
Assist in the development of test plans, execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage defects to resolution.
Provide support for production issues, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Participate in activities required for the approval and prioritization of change requests with the business partner, product manager and the Head of Technical Delivery;
Maintain and update process documentation, including flowcharts and standard operating procedures.
Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry best practices affecting Transfer Agency services.
3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services or fund administration industry.
Strong knowledge of Transfer Agency functions, including issuer and investor services, AML/KYC, transaction processing, corporate events, payments, tax and statement reporting.
Strong software development related business analysis skill and experience
Proven ability to translate complex business problems into clear, actionable requirements.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience working with Tableau, Power BI or similar nice to have
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and build relationships
Experience with a specific Transfer Agency system (Transtar or other).
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Salary Range: $51/hour CAD
