· Restaurant/Pub/Banquet Server
Taking client food requirements and service of them.
· Accountable for balancing daily sales and complying with established cash handling procedures.
· Ensuring stock is adequately maintained (linen, cutlery, sugar, etc.)
· To maintain sanitation and hotel standards in outlets.
· Full knowledge of the entire menu
· Room service duties
· Preparation of food order requirements
· To ensure tables are properly set with linen, cutlery, dishes, glassware, and condiments, for service of banquet function.
· To serve food at banquet function.
· To ensure coffee breaks, lunches, etc., are on time.
· To maintain Hotel standards at all times.
· Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
· Previous experience in similar environment an asset.
· Knowledge of all types of beer, liquor and wines required.
· Basic accounting and computer skills required.
· Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with ease.
· Must possess strong up selling and suggestive selling skills.
· Must be detail orientated.
· Knowledge of Maitre’D Point of Sale an asset
· Heavy lifting & moving of food trays, tables, and chairs required.
· Positive, enthusiastic, outgoing personality a definite must.
· Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication/telephone skills required.
· Must be a responsible, organized individual who can work with minimum supervision.
· Must be honest, reliable, and dependable.
· Must be in good health and practice good hygiene.
· Must demonstrate behavior consistent with core values.
· Must be a team orientated individual with good interactive skills
· Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
Job Type: Part-time
