Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to clients in need.
Duties
- Conduct interviews to assess clients' needs and determine appropriate assistance
- Perform legal drafting and research tasks
- File and maintain accurate client records
- Assist with data entry and administrative tasks
- Conduct client assessments and develop case plans
- Provide referrals to community resources
- Proofread documents for accuracy
- Manage projects related to client cases
- Knowledge about Canadian Immigration policies as per IRCC guidelines able to file applications for Study Permits, Work Permits or other related applications.
- Training will be provided for CRM to Manage calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments, booking conference rooms.
- Need to have good communication skills and if have basic understanding of languages i.e Hindi or Punjabi that will be an asset.
- Have good learning ability and able to work in team to share responsibilities.
Experience
- Previous experience in case management or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in Lexis-Nexis, Canlii or similar legal research tools is a plus
- Strong interviewing and communication skills
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Excellent organizational skills for file maintenance
- Experience in drafting submissions for case files using different case laws.
