Job Summary
Role: Relief Pharmacy Assistant
Location: Edmonton, AB
Start Date and Tenure: ASAP for 1 Month with Ongoing extensions
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid break
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
System: Kroll
Compensation: $18–$20 per hour
Environment: Specialty / Non-retail Pharmacy
Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, and label specialty medications
- Maintain an average production rate of 30 prescriptions labelled per hour
- Support pharmacists and technicians with daily workflow activities
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all assigned tasks
- Prioritize workload to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy procedures and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous Pharmacy Assistant experience preferred
- Familiarity with Kroll is an asset
- Ability to consistently label 30 prescriptions per hour
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
