Sturgeon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a growing Stellantis dealership in Legal, AB, and we're looking for a skilled Journeyman/woman Automotive Technician to join our team. We reward technicians who perform. Our bonus program pays you extra based on your billable hours relative to your hours worked — the more efficient you are, the more you earn. Top performers add up to $9/hr above their base rate every month.
How the bonus works
Sold hours bonus (monthly)140+ sold hours+$4/hr
160+ sold hours+$6/hr
Efficiency bonus (stackable)100% efficiency+$2/hr
110% efficiency+$3/hr
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain off brands as well as Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Complete warranty and customer-pay work efficiently and accurately
- Use electronic diagnostic tools and service information systems
- Perform thorough multi-point inspections with documentation on every vehicle
- Communicate with the service team to keep customers informed on repair status
- Mentor apprentice technicians and contribute to a positive shop culture
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Journeyman (Automotive Service Technician) certification — Red Seal preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical, and drivability systems
- Experience with Stellantis (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) vehicles is a significant asset
- Familiarity with Mopar diagnostic tools (wiTECH, StarSCAN) is an advantage
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Some of your own tools may be required
