Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper storage of ingredients
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
