Key Responsibilities:
- Greet every guest that walks in our doors with a positive attitude
- Provide excellent customer service during dining experience
- Ensure opening, midday and closing duties are completed
- Comfortable adapting to changes in service
- Efficiently provide high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to Steam Whistle’s service standards and policies
- Follow all Steam Whistle’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
You will be offered approximately 4-5 shifts per week, that includes evenings and weekends. This is a seasonal position for the busy summer period.
The hourly rate is $17.60 per hour plus a tip-out program

Experience and Qualifications:
- Two years of serving and/or bartending experience
- Solid understanding and practical knowledge of restaurant business principles and service etiquette
- Able to work in a team environment
- Experience memorizing menu details and allergens
- General knowledge of food, wine and beer
- Competent with POS systems (Point of Sales)
- Familiar with restaurant booking software’s
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in a team environment and in customer service
- Proven to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Cicerone or Prud’homme Certificate is an asset
