Business Analyst
On behalf of our Public Sector client we are seeking a Business Analyst
-Contract opportunity for 159 days (with possibility of extension)
-Remote work opportunity
-Must possess a valid Enhanced Reliability security clearance
Job Tasks and Deliverables
- Gathering and validating business requirements
- Consulting stakeholders to identify needs and priorities
- Documenting current and future state business processes
- Translating business and technical inputs into clear documentation
- Preparing reports, SOPs, playbooks, and guidance materials
- Supporting development of business cases, strategies, and roadmap documentation
- Facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions
- Supporting risk identification related to requirements
- Contributing to process improvement and optimization initiatives
- Preparing executive-level materials and briefings
- Process Maps (Current and Future State)
- SOPs, Playbooks, and Guidance Documents
- Executive Briefing Materials
- Analytical Reports and Research Summaries
- Process Improvement Recommendations
Must Have Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Writer
- Experience producing structured documentation (reports, SOPs, playbooks, guidance materials). Must advise on sample documents and project descriptions
- Experience documenting business processes (current and future state). Must advise on process artefacts/examples
- Ability to translate complex technical/strategic inputs into clear documentation. Must advise on writing samples/project evidence
- Experience developing executive-level materials through briefing decks/reports
- Experience gathering and validating stakeholder requirements. Must provide stakeholder engagement examples
Rated Skills
- Experience supporting telecom, IT, or digital transformation initiatives
- Experience developing external-facing playbooks or guidance
- Experience in process improvement or optimization
- Familiarity with BA methodologies (BABOK or similar)
- Experience supporting strategic or roadmap documentation
- Experience working across complex stakeholder environments
- Overall quality, clarity, and relevance of documentation and stakeholder engagement experience
