Physiotherapist (Full-Time / Contractor Model)
Vitality Chiropractic & Counselling is a multidisciplinary clinic in NW Calgary near U of C and SAIT. We operate as a collaborative, patient-centered clinic with a strong emphasis on clinical quality, autonomy, and long-term practitioner success.
We are seeking an experienced, independent Physiotherapist who is confident in their clinical skills and motivated to build or continue developing a strong private practice within a supportive but non-directive environment.
This role is best suited for a practitioner who values full clinical autonomy, is comfortable working independently, and is actively engaged in building or maintaining their own caseload. This is not a clinic-driven caseload model—instead, it is designed for clinicians who take ownership of their practice direction and growth.
Above all, we are looking for someone who is ethical, grounded, clinically strong, and genuinely patient-centered, with the ability to build long-term therapeutic relationships and a sustainable practice.
Responsibilities
- Independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients using evidence-informed physiotherapy care
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans
- Provide active rehab, education, and functional movement strategies
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and records
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients regarding goals and progress
- Prepare reports for third parties when required
- Collaborate appropriately within a multidisciplinary team when beneficial
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Active registration in good standing with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in private practice
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient management skills
- Experience with JaneApp is an asset
Preferred Experience:
- Vestibular rehabilitation
- Concussion management
- Pelvic floor physiotherapy
- Established or transferable patient base
