We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Finisher to join our team. As a Cabinet Finisher, you will be responsible for assembling and finishing cabinets, as well as performing various tasks related to carpentry and finisher work. The ideal candidate will have experience in wood finishing / cabinet finishing. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand tools and working with different materials.
Duties:
- Apply stains, paints, and finishes to wood custom cabinets with precision
- Collaborate with the cabinet-making team to ensure seamless integration of wood finishing techniques
- Sand, buff, and polish cabinets to achieve a flawless final appearance
- Quality control to ensure finished cabinets meet the highest standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and finishing techniques
- Repair or replace damaged cabinets or components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Custom Cabinet Finisher or related trades
- Expertise in various cabinet finishing techniques such as but not limited to wood spray finishing
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
- Ability to work collaboratively with the cabinet-making team
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to finishing materials
