Job Title: Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters for various sites

Job Type: Full-Time/Temporary
Minimum Level of Education: Journeyman Pipefitter or Registered Apprentice
Schedule: Supporting various job sites in Fort Saskatchewan area & our Sturgeon County Fabrication Shop.
Position Summary
We are seeking Journeyman & Apprentices Pipefitters for various sites in AB. The successful candidate will report to the site supervisor.
Other responsibilities include:

Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on quality.

Calculating weight of materials and/or spools to ensure proper equipment is used.

Reading and interpreting client and company-supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.

Measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, and assembling and installing piping, valves, and fittings.

Joining pipe sections/related equipment and securing position.
-
Using testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
-
Complying with ONEC’s and client safety policies and procedures.

Must be receptive to working with short notice for call outs, nights, and overtime upon client request.

Operating machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.

Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery.

Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
