The Teacher will also collaborate with parents and staff to create an inclusive atmosphere that supports all learners, including those with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles of students.
- Educate children in various subjects, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Utilize leadership skills to guide students in their learning journey and encourage positive behavior.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special education needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends.
Requirements
- ECE Certficate
- Valid First Aid
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with students and parents.
- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and respect among students.
- A genuine passion for educating young minds and fostering their development.
- If you have a passion for gadening that will be a bonus to teach the kids how to garden fruits and vegetables at our daycare garden
Pay range is from $19.75 - $22.00 plus $6.00 Wage Enhancement
