Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other green spaces are healthy, attractive, and well-kept. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires a strong understanding of horticulture and landscape maintenance practices. The Landscaper will play a vital role in creating beautiful, functional outdoor environments for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces neat and healthy
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for land grading or excavation projects
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, digging, and other landscaping tasks
- Maintain garden beds by planting, fertilizing, mulching, and removing weeds
- Assist with construction projects such as installing walkways, patios, or retaining walls
- Conduct routine inspections of landscape features to identify issues requiring mechanical or horticultural attention
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use to promote safety and longevity
Skills
- Experience with excavators, power tools, hand tools, and other landscaping equipment
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Strong gardening and horticulture skills with an understanding of plant care and landscape design principles
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscape maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform landscape construction tasks including installation of features like walkways or garden structures
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients

Pay: $22.00-$30.53 per hour
