Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled sprayer assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying various substances, such as organic pesticides or fertilizers, to trees using specialized equipment. This role requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The Sprayer assistant will work closely with other team members to ensure the effective application of products while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain sprayer equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers according to established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Monitor weather conditions and field conditions to determine optimal application times.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Collaborate with homeowners or management to develop effective spraying schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, including types of products used and areas treated.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and practices while working with chemicals and machinery.
Qualifications
- Experience with small engines machinery is preferred; familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices and crop management is beneficial.
- Previous experience in tree work is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be physically fit, capable of lifting heavy equipment, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
