Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing effective therapy to promote mobility and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans for injury recovery, illnesses, chronic conditions, and surgical rehabilitation
- Provide manual therapies, modalities, education, and assist with therapeutic exercises
- Monitor patient progress and keep accurate treatment records in our EHR system (Jane app)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate ongoing patient care
- Stay up-to-date with continuing education requirements and current best treatment practices
Qualifications
- Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and able to practice independently (this position is not open to Residents at this time)
- Experience with electronic charting is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable with small animals as some of our practitioners also offer animal chiropractic and canine massage
