Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining smooth office operations, managing financial records, and providing exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, proficiency with accounting software, and excellent communication abilities to support our office functions effectively.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including front desk responsibilities and multi-line phone systems
- Handle data entry tasks with accuracy using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Maintain and organize filing systems, both digital and physical, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
- Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping, payroll, and financial record keeping
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person, demonstrating professional phone etiquette
- Assist with appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings or events as needed
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution
- Support administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and mailing correspondence
- Collaborate with team members to ensure organizational efficiency and effective communication and government communications
Experience
- Prior office experience is required, preferably in accounting firms
- Proven proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with data entry, filing systems, and clerical duties is essential
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and support experience
- Familiarity with Google Workspace applications is preferred
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in accounting office environment is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle administrative responsibilities such as proofreading and document management efficiently
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
