We are seeking a compassionate and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities
- Assess client concerns and develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients during sessions
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress
- Uphold all licensing, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with state regulations
- Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience
- Previous experience as a massage therapist is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a welcoming and relaxing experience for clients
- Certification or licensing as required by state law for massage therapy practitioners
