Schedule:
Days (7am - 3:30pm) M-F
Position Summary:
The Hardware Stores Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, controlling, issuing, and tracking hardware, consumables, and production materials used in aerospace manufacturing operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, material traceability, and timely material availability through the effective use of ERP systems, inventory controls, and reporting tools.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue hardware kits in accordance with work orders and manufacturing requirements.
- Process inventory transactions using company ERP (Visual), including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments and returns.
- Generate and analyze reports (e.g. inventory, transaction, cycle count) using Visual ERP and Microsoft Excel.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation of physical inventory to ERP records.
- Ensure material lot traceability is maintained in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Review inventory levels and communicate shortages, replenishment needs, and concerns to the appropriate departments.
- Verify receiving, inventory, work order, and traceability documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Inspect and process returned hardware and production equipment in accordance with inventory control procedures.
- Report hardware quality concerns to the Quality Department and reject product outside of specifications.
- Maintain hardware supply adhering to Just-in-Time manufacturing principles
- Transfer information and knowledge across shifts as required; work as a team to support production.
- Maintain an organized, secure, and efficient stores area while supporting the 6S program.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, inventory control, warehousing, or material management considered an asset
- Experience using ERP systems (Visual ERP experience preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and inventory-related reporting
- Experience handling and issuing production materials and hardware

Working Conditions:
Physical
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch

- Use of office equipment, including computers, etc.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc. as required
