South Etobicoke Animal Hospital is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or experienced Veterinary Technician to join our hospital.

What You'll Do
As a valued member of our veterinary team, you will:
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures.
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, laboratory sample collection, and in-house diagnostics.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients.
- Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, medications, and post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, CSRs, and ACAs to provide outstanding patient care.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital.
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing with the OAVT is preferred; experienced Veterinary Technicians are also encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a companion animal practice is preferred.
- Excellent patient handling and nursing skills.
- Strong communication and client education abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to support teammates.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
