Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces and components, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in manufacturing, machining, or mechanical work to contribute to our production processes and maintain the integrity of our products.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
- Apply paint, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or power tools
- Operate machinery such as cranes and forklifts to move materials safely around the work area
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Perform quality checks to ensure proper coverage and adherence to specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with assembly or machining tasks when required, supporting overall production efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or machining environments
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
- Ability to operate cranes and forklifts safely (certification preferred)
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during surface preparation and coating application
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow
- Experience with welding or assembly is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
