Overview
We are seeking experienced Construction Workers specialized in working at heights to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a variety of construction tasks at elevated levels, ensuring safety and precision on every project. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects that require technical expertise and a commitment to safety standards.
Position: Construction workers (Must have working at height certification)
Location: Toronto
Shift: 7 am to 5 pm
Pay: $20/ hour
Duties
- Safely operate heavy equipment to assist with construction tasks at heights
- Perform rigging and hoisting operations for lifting materials and equipment to elevated work areas
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, install, and repair structures or systems at height.
- Weld components and structures to ensure stability and compliance with safety standards
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of scaffolding, ladders, and other access equipment for working at heights
- Follow all safety protocols related to working at heights, including the use of harnesses, lanyards, and fall protection gear
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for construction tasks
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to working at heights, including fall protection measures
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Physical stamina and dexterity required for prolonged periods of working at elevated levels in diverse weather conditions
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
