Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and a strong understanding of vehicle bodywork and paint. This role involves restoring vehicles to their original condition through precise repairs, paints, using various tools and techniques. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans to restore vehicles to factory standards
- Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely
- Conduct sanding, grinding, and painting to achieve seamless finishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during repair processes
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Experience with automotive painting, sanding, and bodywork techniques
- Mechanic experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
