Overview:
We are seeking a part time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient profiles, and processing insurance claims
Requirements:
- Prior experience or certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and medication administration
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient care

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
