Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vinyl Technician and Sign Installer to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating high-quality vinyl graphics and installing signs across various locations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to visually impactful projects while honing your craftsmanship in signage and graphic installation.
Responsibilities
- Cut, weed, and apply vinyl graphics using professional tools and equipment
- Prepare surfaces for sign installation, ensuring proper adhesion and finish
- Install signs on walls, windows, vehicles, and other surfaces following safety standards and client specifications
- Measure spaces accurately to ensure precise placement of signage
- Operate cutting plotters, laminators, and other relevant machinery with attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues with vinyl or signage materials during production or installation
Skills
- Experience with vinyl cutting, weeding, application, and sign installation preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes
- Ability to read measurements accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Basic understanding of tools such as squeegees, levelers, drills, and measuring tapes
- Good physical stamina for lifting materials and working at various heights or positions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for traveling between job sites
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
