Prototype Sports Performance is seeking talented and ambitious Physiotherapists, who understands the challenges of high intensity training in strength and power sports. This is a chance to grow with our practice in our busy Sports Performance / Personal Training facility.
Our facility seeks to serve the community by empowering athletes and general population clients of all levels through education and the facilitation of a healthier, more positive approach to achieving performance excellence. We believe that in order to maximize strength and conditioning results, you must provide an environment for each athlete that is positive and people-centred; this approach fosters long-term growth that lasts well after the game is over and ensures that each athlete is able to CONSISTENTLY perform at his or her highest level. PSP coaches encourage independence by teaching mindfulness, self-regulation and habit development. The Prototype athlete is prepared mentally and physical to take on any challenge!

- License to practice from a recognized agency
- Personal professional liability insurance
- Personal experience training in a variety of modalities

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and medical history.
- Implement therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote healing and mobility.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients in acute care settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with hospital policies.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Registered with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Valid licensure to practice as a Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred; experience with paediatric patients is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and treatment plans.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a patient-centred approach
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
