Staff Plus is hiring an Ink Solvent Operator for one of our clients in Brampton, ON. We are seeking a reliable, experienced candidate with inkjet print system experience. Previous printing experience, particularly in corrugated or plastic manufacturing, is a strong asset. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment with long-term potential.
Shift- Monday to Thursday- 7am to 4:30pm, Friday- 7am to 1pm
Pay Rate- $22.26/ hour
Job Description:
- Set-up ink to match specifications; match, formulate, and measure for designated orders, prioritizing as needed
- Perform quality tests and checks
- Troubleshoot ink issues
- Maintain inventory to meet or exceed goals/targets
- Update and maintain records, reports, samples, recipes/blends,
- Work closely with graphics department, operations, inventory, leadership, product development
- Maintain storage and work area to meet protocols
- Effectively communicate with others
- All other duties as needed
Requirements:
- HS/GED required
- AS preferred a/plus
- Ability to detect color required
- 2-4 years experience in a related field required; color matching
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Experience:
- Heavy lifting: 1 year (preferred)
- Machine operation: 5 years (preferred)
